Pastoral Care and Chapel

Drawing on its religious foundations, the hospital prides itself on offering faith-based services to all -- providing emotional support, comfort, encouragement and spiritual aid to those in need.

The Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel, located on the first floor, serves as a place for prayer and reflection.

Pastoral Care Services provide support for patients and family members and OLBH staff through counseling, bedside visitation, care groups and prayer. OLBH's Pastoral Care staff members are knowledgeable in assisting with end-of-life issues.

By request, a chaplain can arrange for patients to be visited by a member of their own clergy or religious community. Roman Catholic sacraments are available from the hospital priest as needed.
