OLBH Requesting Photos for May 18 Relay for Life
OLBH is requesting photos of community members whose lives have been impacted by a diagnosis of cancer for display at the Greenup County Relay for Life event Friday, May 18.
The photos will be used in a display at the Relay for Life event. Relay for Life takes place at the Raceland/Worthington High School track beginning at 5 p.m. with a survivors’ reception. The photo display will be placed next to the track. Submitted pictures could be either in memory of someone who has died of cancer or of a loved one who is a cancer survivor. Submitted photos should include the name of the individual in the photo and dates if applicable at the bottom of the photograph. Printouts are preferred, as photos cannot be returned. Photos must be submitted no later than May 15 for inclusion.
To submit a photograph for the Relay for Life display board, contact either Ima Kaye Sturgill at (606) 833-3253 or Barb Fitzpatrick at (606) 833-3252.
Relay for Life, the American Cancer Society’s national signature activity, is a team event that brings the community together to raise awareness and funds for cancer research, remember those who lost their fight to the disease and celebrate the victories of all survivors.
