Grief Support Group Starts April 19
OLBH will begin meetings of its grief group with the first meeting Thursday, April 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the hospital’s second floor chapel.
The grief support group will meet each Thursday until the final meeting Thursday, May 24. The support group is for those individuals who have lost a family member or loved one. “No one has to grieve alone,” Sandy Adams, OLBH chaplain, said. “Sharing can facilitate healing. Our support group encourages participants to use the group setting to let their feelings be known to those who understand and are dealing with many of the same issues. It’s an opportunity to feel support and caring and to provide the same to others.”
