Merkel Joins Ironton Primary Care
Steven Merkel, M.D., has joined the staff of Ironton Primary Care (1005 East Ring Road).
Merkel earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. He completed a residency and internship at Akron City Hospital in Akron, Ohio. While at Akron City Hospital, he served as the chief resident of family practice. Merkel is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians.
Ironton Primary Care offers a full array of family care services. Ironton Primary Care is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
