McGinnis-Ruark Certified as Recruiter
OLBH physician liaison Mary Kay McGinnis-Ruark has passed her examinations to achieve status as a Certified Medical Staff Recruiter (CMSR).
CMSR status is bestowed by the American Academy of Medical Management. The exam is the culmination of a rigorous formal certification process that demonstrated McGinnis-Ruark’s skills and knowledge in physician recruitment. McGinnis-Ruark joined OLBH as a physician liaison in 2009. In her role, McGinnis-Ruark provides a personal communication link between OLBH and physicians on the hospital’s medical staff.
A Greenup native, McGinnis-Ruark earned her degree in 1995 from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Ky. She is a member of the Ashland Alliance Young Professionals. She assumes a leadership role annually for the Greenup County Fair. Prior to coming to OLBH, McGinnis-Ruark’s prior work experience included employment at the Ashland Alliance and Veolia Environmental Services. McGinnis-Ruark resides in Greenup with her husband David and their two children.
