In our region, many women between the ages of 40 and 60 do not have health insurance and are going without necessary health services.
The OLBH Mobile Health Center is designed to provide women of all ages health services ranging from mammography to general health physicals. The center focuses on the early detection of disease as a way to save lives and brings these preventive services closer to peoples' homes.
Mammography, osteoporosis screenings, and general women's health education are available to a seven county area. Participants must schedule an appointment by calling the Women’s Center at (606) 836- PINK (7465).
Insurance information and all necessary authorization will be obtained. If you do not have insurance, Medicare or Medicaid, payment arrangements can be secured. Several financial assistance programs are available. For more information, please call the CareLine at (606) 833-CARE (2273). |
