The
OLBH Outreach Centers offer on-site x-rays, lab services and comprehensive
family care.
When
experiencing health complications, it is comforting to know that quality
care is available close to home. As a part of your community, the Our Lady
of Bellefonte Hospital Outreach Centers provide residents with access to
primary care physicians, doctors of osteopathic medicine, pediatrics, physician
assistants, nurse practitioners and quality nurses. The centers' healthcare
professionals offer acute, routine and ongoing medical services to all
ages.
Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital Outreach Centers are located in Cannonsburg,
Flatwoods, Grayson and South Shore, Kentucky.
Augustinus Lobach, M.D., OLBH Outreach Center medical director and family physician,
describes the hospital's outreach centers as perfect settings for family practice
physicians. "It is not unusual for us to treat entire families at the centers.
The family practice medical specialty prepares us to follow people through the
whole life span."
Dr. Lobach explains he understands how a patient's family health history and
lifestyle situation can affect their health. "Patients want more than a medical
diagnosis when seeing their family doctor," Dr. Lobach stated. "They expect personalized
care and that's what the professionals at the OLBH Outreach Centers offer them.
Because the majority of the centers' patient care teams are local residents,
we have an established knowledge of the area's generations of families and the
expertise to follow them for generations to come."
Because the outreach centers are an extension of Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital,
patients are treated like family, with compassion, support and warmth. As a Catholic
healthcare provider, OLBH naturally embraces the philosophy of healing both the
body and spirit. The hospital's mission of being "Good help to those in need" is
based upon blending high-quality healthcare with an atmosphere of spiritual comfort.
This mission is carried on not only at the hospital, but also at each OLBH Outreach
Center and its other extended services across the community.
This link to an acute care facility such as OLBH also yields access to a wide
range of medical specialists and services. When necessary, OLBH Outreach Center
physicians may refer their patients to the hospital for specialized services
such as radiology exams; cardiac monitoring and catheterization; surgical care
and recovery; cancer treatment therapies; and respiratory care; pediatric services.
For your convenience, a map detailing the locations of each individual center
is available on the hospital web site. The OLBH Outreach Centers' welcome both
scheduled and walk-in appointments. For more information or to schedule an appointment,
